Meet Jelle Wallays

My name is Jelle Wallays, 34 and I'm living in Staden, Belgium. I have been a professional cyclist for over 13 years riding for teams like Topsport Vlaanderen, Lotto-Soudal and Cofidis.

Now I'm a Triathlete who finished 2 Ironman races in one year. I have my own PT-coaching business and I have my own coffee blend 'Kooon'.

Professional cyclist (2010-2023)

From 2010 until 2023, I was a professional cyclist riding for 3 different teams. I started my career with Topsport Vlaanderen. With them I won races like Paris-Tours and Dwars door Vlaanderen.

After 5 years with this amazing team, I switched to the WorldTour team Lotto-Soudal. With them I won Paris-Tours again and also 1 stage in La Vuelta. I participated in 4 La Vuelta races.

After 4 years of Lotto-Soudal, I changed to team Cofidis. With Cofidis I got to ride and finish the Tour de France.

Coffee brand owner 'Kooon'

As a great coffee lover, I put together these beans with the utmost care. My love for coffee, especially light and sweet flavours, resulted in this blend.

Those who pay close attention can taste hints of milk chocolate, with hints of orange and maple. KOOON is perfect for your sweet espresso or a creamy cappuccino.

I am therefore very happy to share my love for coffee with other people through my own blend.
